The Press Conference of The Indonesia MICE Youth Competition is held at our Summit Room on 23 April 2024. The Indonesia MICE Youth Competition will be organized by The Indonesia Exhibition Companies Association (IECA) in collaboration with Indonesia Congress and Convention Association (INCCA) on 29-30 July 2024 at Merak Room, Jakarta Convention Center (JCC). The Indonesia MICE Youth Challenge is a competition that allows students in the MICE, business, and tourism field of study to express their creativity and showcase innovative ideas to the industry. The Indonesia MICE Youth Challenge is also meant to provide students with opportunities to gain industry experience by developing concepts, testing enterprises, and arranging MICE events. Bapak Hosea Andreas Runkat, the Chairman of IECA, expects that the Indonesia MICE Youth Challenge would generate new ideas for Indonesia's Meeting, Incentive, Convention, and Exhibition (MICE) market. The participating team must conceptualize a novel event (original and fresh, particularly in conception and style) in accordance with the theme of the Indonesia MICE Youth Challenge, namely "SUSTAINABILITY & GREEN INITIATIVES" with projected business-test for one of the following MICE components: M (meeting), I (incentive trip), C (conference), or E (exhibition), as well as highlight the unique qualities and amenities of the region to persuade them that their destination is the best place to host their designed event. This competition will be judged by a jury team consisting of representatives from IECA, INCCA, Professional Exhibition Organizer (PEO), Professional Convention Organizer (PCO) and the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia.
